For all you folks out there who've been saying two hours before curtain - you're wrong!
The tickets go on sale at noon and were gone around one.
So, alas, I'm seeing Rosie in FIDDLER tonight. But thought I'd let you all know!

I posted this a few weeks ago, also.
I'm glad they're doing a general rush policy so everyone can benefit. More shows should follow their example

I agree, Jordan.
Was considering going tomorrow, but the nice lady at the box office sold me a ticket to SEASCAPE in rush instead!

Yes, the policy definitely changed. A friend of mine went to the first preview and got his tickets at 6 PM.
That same friend tried to get tickets again last night, and when he arrived at 6 was told they were gone and had gone onsale at noon. When my friend told the guy he was there earlier this week and the tickets went on sale at 6, the guy responded that that was only for the first preview. Also, the policy is still being worked, and may in fact change again. Oh, and tickets for matinees go on sale at 10. It's a very strange policy at the moment, and I expect they'll get it sorted out before opening.

Posted: 11/6/05 at 12:15amWhen I went to the box office I was told that rush seats are the first two rows of the orch, sold each day when the box office opens. That's about all I know. I had house seats when I went so I haven't taken advantage of the rush yet.

Not obstructed view- first two rows center orchestra.
However, the policy seems to be changing in regards to when they go on sale. The box office man said they are still sorting it out, so nothing is definite yet. As of now (last night) it's every day at noon. However, earlier this week they were selling them at 6 PM only.

I didn't feel like starting a new thread, but has anyone gotten the $25 rear mez. seats for the Color Purple? If so, how were they?
#17re: A NOTE ON THE COLOR PURPLE RUSH POLICY
Posted: 11/10/05 at 3:08pmI've never sat there for Color Purple before, but I strongly dislike the entire rear mezzanine of the Broadway. Horrible view.

Posted: 11/10/05 at 3:32pm*raises hand* I sat in the rear mezz at Color Purple last week. It's AWFUL. You can't see a freakin' thing. It's like your 6 miles away.

Is there rush for Saturday matinees still?
(Is that also at 12 - or at 10 when the BO opens?)
Thanks!
P.S. What time should I get there?
