How Awesome! That is so cool! Anthony is so kind, I love him. And Idina looks beautiful, stunning. Very cool pics and story.

Ahh, good old BCEFA being exploited so some rich father can impress his children...does sound fun though. I wonder, you think the scenario was "I'll give you $_______ if you let us visit the Rent set" or "Mr. _________, to thank you for your generous contribution, we have invited you to the set of RENT." Gee, I wonder...

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. Thesbjean, I remember the "visit the RENT set" being one of those BCEFA things that was up on Ebay a few months back.
JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

i wonder what will happen when it comes out. do you think adam will do more movies or that his music will be bigger? how cool would it be if he did a mini-tour!!! and the others too. out of everyone,who do you think has agood chance at getting nominated for an award? (obviously blind speculation)i would think it would imitate the noms for the tony's.

kas- I was just thinking about that. Something tells me that his music carrer will shoot up. Many more teenage girls will die seeing this movie. They go buy his albums, and BOOM WOOOT GO ADAM

As for nominations- I've heard from ppl who have seen his shows that Adam Pascal isn't the world's greatest actor, but still good. I personally hope that Anthony Rapp and Jesse L. Martin and/or Wilson Herredia will get noms. But hey- what's the harm in ALL of them...lol

I think that Rosario Dawson definately has a good shot at a nom, if only at the Golden Globes. I mean, this year Renee Zellwegger got a nom for completely rehashing another movie that she'd been in and Emmy Rossum got a nom for a role that, although I enjoyed her in, did not require much intense acting in a film that overall didn't do very well. Mimi is a really great and pretty original role. I'd be really surprised if she didn't get a nom at the Globes.

I really, really want Wilson to get a nom (at least in the Globes). I mean, he deserves something just for looking so gorgeous in drag! Plus, he's got a really great voice, seems to portray Angel really well, etc. I think he's just a kickass Angel. Idina's got a shot too. I'd love for others (Jesse and Anthony!) to get noms as well, but I'm trying not to set my hopes too high.

As for the Oscars... those are weird. I'm not going to try to predict those.

Lucky! That is all I can say. :-P Sounds like an absolutely amazing experience though. Wow. But seriously, I can't help but be jealous of that.
I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart. -Scrubs

Yeah seriously. To have an experience like that, I'd give my left kidney or something. :-P OK maybe not literally but something to that degree of importance......

I am sure all of the people involved in RENT are extremely nice, but all of this seems excessively nice. I have to agree, her dad must have paid a FORTUNE to get it. But, keep it in perspective, it goes to a good cause, she's a big fan, and the cast and crew are really nice people...so good for her!
