And how old did you admit to being on the "how old is everyone", thread billy? 14 was it? Well, there's your answer Namo. When children don't quite "get it" and have no kind of witty retort, they get cranky and defensive.
Of course he doesn't get miffed with posters in the same age range as himself, even though they are saying the exact same thing (albeit not as eloquently)as you are. It's "clique" mentality. You, Etoile, Slash, Duane Reade, Robbiej and myself, are considered the evil, stodgy adults who do nothing but sit around being "mean" and "bitter" all day.

Sondheimfreak, it's funny that in your response to orion's post you took a slap at me. Outta the blue. Fully illustrating his point! Good one! That definitely falls into the "I'm only trying to make this board a better place by pointing out what a jerk you are" category, with a side order of splitting. Something along the lines of "I agree with you Orion, but that Namo!" LOL. Awesome. Amazing.

I go away for four days to the Pines…and I come back to …a RUMBLE!!

Mind you; I may post controversial stuff or stuff that goes slightly askew from the normal “I Love Bernadette” blather on this board…and by doing so I am totally prepared for any level of hate thrown at me…
To say I really don’t care wouldn’t be fair… how can I say this...
You see, unlike the rather obvious handful of posters (not everyone...just 5-or-6 posters......i won’t name names..they know most unfortunately who they are)…
I have a life…
I may post something one day and forget I even wrote it two days later…
HELLO! McFLY! It’s a message board…. Who cares! I’ve had a disagreement with people here only two minutes later to find out we have the same opinion about something…. and have since never had any problems with them…
Those 5-6 posters have problems with EVERYONE…. they can’t agree with ANYONE…ever!
If you REALLY care that much about what is written here may I suggest that you most desperately need a week in Aruba and some margaritas …stat!!
Making some new “real” friends might help as well…
I think the best thing to do going forward is to ignore the handful of posters mentioned above…they WANT you to take everything personally…because THEY take everything personally…
You may also ignore me if you wish...Don't worry, I won't cry about it..(LOL).....

2 days Namo, not 3 and one of the main differences between us is that if I think I’ve gone to far or can see I may have hurt someone, I have the guts to say I’m sorry just as publicly as I when I did the hurt.

It doesn't take guts to apologize, it takes a belief that you did something wrong and a desire to make an amends for it. Take for example the purely hypothetical idea that you think you have some sort of insider knowledge of the meaning behind a certain phrase that is sometimes used and that you take it upon yourself to inform a much-loved actress/dancer/songstress who's just starting out in a national tour of a popular Broadway musical based on a movie and you inform that person of the knowledge that you think you have and that there seems to be no other reason other than to hurt that actress/dancer/songstress's feelings but that you are able to disguise your big revelation as if you are doing the poor girl a favor. First, you have to realize what a butthead you are for doing it, second, you have to care about hurting the feelings, and finally, third, you have to make an amends for it. Guts? No. Manners, si!
