Well it sounds to me like HAIRSPRAY is the obvious choice. The sexual innuendo is nothing Granny hasn't heard and if you don't tell her Edna is really a guy she should be just fine.

I don't think she'd have a problem with Edna being a guy, anyhow.
To be honest, she's a pretty cool Grandma.
She's up with pop culture and stuff.
(for example, she was angered when Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey got married, because "he's too cute for her" and "her singing is terrible". She now watches the occasional episode of Newlyweds for the soul purpose of mocking Jessica afterwards. Go, Grandma, Go!)
And she can handle more sexual innuendo than I earlier let on.
I mean, she walked out at intermission from "Frankie & Johnny in the Claire de Lune" because it wasn't at all like the movie and there was way too much nudity for her.
(Hence why I don't think she's up for "Naked Boys Singing")
But in general, she's alright.
I love my Grandma.

Maybe you can take her to THE BOY FROM OZ ( but ask her first 
) - judging from Barbara Cook's regard for the show ( she has seen it 11 times), maybe your grandma might like it. I've also read Liz Smith say she has been to the show a number of times, the last time with Lauren Bacall.
It's a fun show!

I second Marc's call for Hairspray. It is a GREAT show and she shouldn't have a problem with it. As far as Edna goes,I have seen people all ages coming out of the theatre at the end swearing up and down that there is no way Edna was played by a man.. and they were looking IN THEIR PLAYBILLS.

Well, if she has see POTO, 42nd Street and Fiddler, then Hairspray or Wonderful Town. Personally, I would see Hairspray over Wonderful Town any day. But it depends on what your grandmother wants.
