Posted: 10/27/09 at 1:55pmPetrovich said what I was thinking. Johansson can barely act on film (I loved her in Lost in Translation but she was only being herself), so I can't imagine she can be broad enough for the stage. Maybe she'll be s surprise, but for now, I think she's too weak and bland.

At least this looks interesting...
A couple weeks back, I was at a loss as to what to see in January, but this and "A Little Night Music" at least make things more promising.

the good news: Elizabeth Marvel has been cast in Susan Lori Parks new play at the Public
the bad news: no Elizabeth Marvel as Bea. 
Would've been brilliant and won that Tony. I'm sure she'll be amazing in the Parks' piece.
