Wow that's awesome! January is really far. Good for them, I hope they pull in great numbers even if of course they won't be Catherine Zeta-Jones/Angela Lansbury-sized numbers. I'll be there in October for ANGELS, will definitely be checking this out.

I think they will pull in some nice numbers. But I really hope the producers start a discount or even a seated rush.

Guh I find your opinion extremely annoying.

If we can agree that Bernadette Peters can at least pass off looking 50 on stage, then she is still closer to the age of her daughter than my Mum was to me at that age (by 1 year).

She will easily make a persuasive case for every single one of the character's relationships.

And I, for one, will be happy to have Desiree's crisis played by somone on the other side of 50.

It's always nice to be quoted <3 I'm just stating my opinion. The age difference doesn't really work for the time period. I will stand in the back of the theatre for three hours, and I will probably love Bernadette’s performance, but Trevor Nunn was "allegedly" correct the first time around. She's too old for this production specific. Do I agree with his concept? Not really. Don’t get me wrong, I really am very excited to see Bernadette and Elaine in these roles. I’ve been a fan of hers since I saw her in AGYG in 1998. So, I’ve been a fan of hers for twelve years, and I’m only twenty. She’s a brilliant actress and musician.
