Unlike you, I'm not looking to being on top of this.  I don't care.  So why do you care?  How is this affecting YOUR  life?  You do you and I will do ME!

That is being an as*hole and a smart a**. I chose to not interfere in your latest fight, (as well as the many, many, others)when Blaxx put you in your place, about your mask comments.Because you did and do post comments on here then when proven wrong you deny it. This recent time was not the first and it won't be the last. I never pick fights with anyone on here. it is not my thing. But when provoked, I will bring it back. Should we say it is on? BTW, what the fuk do you care what I own or don't own. How does it affect you? It clearly doesn't keep you off of this website 24/7."

First, blaxx put me in my place about not recalling that, at an earlier point in the evolution of covid and the protocols, I did not think it would be viable to depend on people wearing masks and that I did not recall the stupidity Sutton had posted (and that I had previously excoriated). When I am corrected, as evidenced by the thread to which you refer, I admit it if I am wrong. So I respectfully suggest you are not on firm footing on what is a non sequitur here in any case.

Second, engaging with current technology is a choice (just ask the Amish) but choices have consequences. If you want to go to the theatre, pretty soon you are not going to have a choice but to engage with it. I get that you are not happy about that. Maybe you were not happy about the end of tokens in the subway. Maybe you would not have been happy about replacing gaslights with electrical ones in your parlor. But what you are showing by your hostility is that you want to fight with the messenger.

Why do other people here care what you do or don't do? They don't. But you will recall that it was YOU who posted about this so you obviously want people to care about your choices. When you post something on a board like this one, people react with their opinions.

I wish you well in negotiating the future without as little angst as possible. Technology is a battle you cannot win without compromising what you can do. Please stop shooting all of the lovely messengers on here and in a theatre lobby.

Hogan, I made the post on 10/1,12:20 am, in response to your post on 9/28. 7:40 pm which came across quite condescending and possibly a dig towards me or at least towards others like me.  That may not have been your intention, but I am describing how I felt about it.  Yet, I NEVER stated anything negative towards YOU in that post.  Your first response to me had multiple insults towards me. So it was you who was being hostile towards me.   If you poke I am going to poke back.  If somehow I can't go to the theater because I don't have a smart phone, that will not be the end of the world for me.  I have too many others things in my life to worry over.  I don't ever remember using subway tokens so not something to obsess over. Lastly, NOTHING has ever occurred in a theater lobby with me, a smart phone and an employee.   What I mentioned in my post, last night had nothing to do with a theater ticket and a smart phone.  It had to do with a credit union,  the replacement of a missing dividend check and a Manager.

My question is this:.

I'm seeing a show in Nov with a friend who does not have any cellphone. Can they scan BOTH tickets from my phone or do I need to get hers printed out ?

You of course get to decide how things make you feel. I think a fair reading of my post that you reference reflects hostility to ideas, not people. I am not hostile to you; I don't know you. My following post was definitely more hostile, perhaps partly unnecessarily so, but it was in reaction to your response (which you subsequently amended some) that, to me, appeared to be unfortunate. History reveals that there are often some people resistant to change, that they are insulted by that change, and that they sometimes overreact to the messengers of that change. I hope you reconsider walking away from the theatre, something I assume you love, but of course it is a choice. I respect the Amish too.

“ Can they scan BOTH tickets from my phone or do I need to get hers printed out ?”

Yes, you can scan multiple as long as they are separate QR code’s.

My post was Not amended.  Like I said, I did NOT insult you in any way in my first post. I'm done with this silliness.

Should be fine! As long as they’re different QR codes. I had our 3 tickets for the OOTI tour in Hershey on my phone and we all got in without issue.

TBC, by amended I meant that you added details in your subsequent post, not that you edited the first one. I am pretty sure I did not suggest you insulted me but let me again be clear that I do not think you did. And yes let's be done.

Glad to find that my MOULIN ROUGE ticket automatically popped up on the Seat Geek app this morning.
