Hi all,
My mother in law is VERY picky when it comes to seats. For "Side Show" she got Front Mezzanine, Row B, 12 and 14. I told her she'll be fine as I'm sure they are full view and not too far over to the right, but can anyone confirm that for me? I don't want her freaking out when she gets to the theatre as she's done before.
Thanks!

Posted: 12/18/14 at 1:40pmThe mezzanine at the St James offers a GREAT view. I sat in row N when I saw Bullets Over Broadway, and the view was absolutely perfect. You should be just fine!

Posted: 12/18/14 at 2:19pmShe freaks out because the seats she buys that are off to the side are off to the side?! Err, why doesn't she buy more centered seats?

To answer your question haterobics, she only likes the first 2 rows...I told you she's picky! And thanks very much Broadwayboobs! Funny that you sat in those seats! I can reassure her now that she's fine. Thanks bwayphreak as well.
On a side note, I'm sad to see this close so soon. I thought they could have at least made it through the Tony's, even though it wouldn't have won any.

Another quick seating question: I've sat in the rear mezz at the St. James before and the balcony overhang makes it feel miles away from the stage and so disconnected… but I've never sat in the balcony here before. How is the rear mezz vs. front balcony, though? Height (and distance without an overhang over my head) doesn't necessarily bother me, and I think I'd rather sit there than in the rear mezz again for Something Rotten! so I was just wondering if anyone has some insight on the front balcony seats at the St. James? Thanks!
Wow - excuse my horrid run-on sentences and weird grammar here as I typed this quickly on my phone. Haha.

Posted: 3/12/15 at 8:57pmClimbing up to the balcony at the St. James is the worst trek ever. The steps are very steep and it just seemed like it goes on forever. I've sat up there for American Idiot, front row. It seemed way too far back and way too high. I've never gone up there since.
