ABC developing "For The Record Live" musical broadcast series

The network is partnering with Dick Clark Productions to develop For the Record Live, which it describes as “a genre-bending production turning the soundtracks of iconic director’s films into thrilling immersive live entertainment events.”

I've seen their Baz and Robert Zebecks iterations, and I can't wait to see the Scorsese one at the Wallis Annenberg in Beverly Hills! Can't wait to see how it translate to YV!

There goes my hopes and dreams for Newsies Live...

For the 2,456,897th, ABC TV's DIRTY DANCING was filmed - it isn't a "live" musical broadcast. And for the record: FOX TV's adaptation of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW was also filmed. It's not a "live" broadcast.

This is actually the first I am hearing this so cool it with the overzealous sass. Not appreciated.
