This is usually caused by good diction...very normal.

The first 10 rows in the Virginia are now called the "Splash Zone!"

Not just in Aida the spitting happens- lol it's in every show! I've seen Jon Secada do it in Cabaret & I've seen a couple actors in Phantom do it.

Felicia Finley drooled on my playbill when I saw her in Aida. She came out afterwords with a lollipop in her mouth, and when she was signing my playbill she drooled a little and it fell onto the cover. She was like: "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" But I cherished that playbill. Can you blame me? Felicia is awesome.

PennyLou, I have a very difficult time trying to understand what you're attempting to say in your posts. Is English your second language?

I've seen a bunch of shows front row Rent, Wicked, Boheme etc. and never noticed any spitting.

OK i fixed it sorry I tend to type or as how I would say things as I think and don't go back to fix grammar problems. I try to always spell check everything but I need to work on the grammar when I type.

And what if it is my second language!

With front row seats to Millie last summer, Sutton spit the hell out of "Gimme Gimme"...I felt as though I was in a hurricane.

Rob, you know how Bulldog has "quiz master" under his name...can you change Dollypop's to "editor-in-chief?"

Doug is just a spitter! It happens automatically & has nothing to do with a particular character. Sorry! What an odd thread this is.... :)
