What about Alicia Keys on Broadway in a good juicy role just for her. She's been seriously saying she wants to be on Broadway.

Any links to see when she said that she wanted to be on Broadway? I've never heard anything about Keys wishing to do theatre. I love her as an R&B singer, but i can't picture her doing Broadway, maybe she'd be good, who knows? But i doubt she will do stage work any time soon.
Paris: She was cast in a movie soon to be released, i think.

I literally just rented Edison Force today (starring....Justin Timberlake)and I am absolutely blown away....


...this guy calls himself an actor? I can't take that voice seriously.

Edison Force? WTF? When was that released? I know he has a movie coming out named "Edison" but it hasn't been released yet.

Maybe Keys could do a role where she had to play the piano? Combine two of her greatest talents. Although, I have to say, I don't see her doing anything that's currently on Broadway, nor do I see her reviving anything. But who knows, I'm sure she'd be fine. To me it seems to be a great singer you have to be a great actor because you have to be able to act the songs as well as sing them. So, it seems like she'd be a sufficent actress.

I just said she was cast in a movie, so she might be able to act. That's it. Maybe not, I haven't seen the movie.

It just came out on DVD yesterday. Trust me, I was just as surprised as you. I didn't even know it came out in theaters!

Weird. I was just at the movie store tonight and I didn't see anything about it - though, I wasn't really looking for a crappy movie with Jtlake in it.

(But I rented Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and I have to say, it was a great movie. I recommend it to everyone. It's got a great story that you'll never be able to figure out.)

Sorry to keep the thread jack going, but I just looked it up on amazon.com and wow, that's the movie I was talking about. Ha. I thought it was suppose to be some big movie because of the cast. Wow. Did it suck? It looks really crappy, but I would think Spacey and Freedmon would be smart enough and rich enough to where they wouldn't do sh*t like that.

Looks like she is cast in two movies? One of them is a minor role in some Ben Affleck movie called Smokin' Aces. The other is called Nanny Diaries.

Eh. It really isn't that good. My friend works at Blockbuster and said he hadn't seen it yet but recommended it because it had a good cast.

He was wrong.

she could play roxie hart in chicago...or amber in hairspray. those seem to be the two most popular 'training wheel' roles for the female celebrities who want to make it on broadway.

Alicia, aas someone else said, will appear in both "Smokin' Aces" and "The Nanny Diaries." She also has a biopic of famed pianist Philippa Schuyler called "Compositions In Black and White" in development. That one will be executive produced by Halle Berry.
