I would love to see her in something new or something even maybe that she wrote. Maybe off broadway first? Who knows...I never thought Stephen Lynch could do Broadway but he's great. I love her and hope that if she does come that it's not in something like Chicago.

RIP Natasha Richardson. ~You were a light on this earth ~

She does not have the sex appeal for Chicago.

Her voice is so contemporary and R&B, I think she would need something written for her. And also her appeal is somewhat that she sings songs that she's written and plays the piano. From performing SO MUCH the last four years, her voice isn't what it was when she recorded "Fallin," so I'm not sure if her voice alone would give her a ticket to Broadway.

Maybe something in The Wiz revival? She's too old for Dorothy and too young for Glinda.

that was merely a joke.....i, for one, am sick of stars getting bored with their careers and deciding to 'try' broadway. i'm a musical theatre actor, and you don't see me going to try to star in a movie my first time out. why has broadway become a playland for the stars? add that to the list of things wrong with broadway these days.

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says, "I will try again tomorrow."

I really think she could be a great Shug Avery in "The Color Purple." She is a little young, but with the right make-up, she could knock that role out of the park...

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
