These days, GLEE seems to irritate me more than entertain me.

It looks like they attempted the Fosse choreography...for two seconds. I didn't think it was possible to make "All That Jazz" a boring number, but somehow Glee succeeded. And WHY does this show always delight in doing the movie versions of musical songs? When they did "Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag," surprise, surprise, it was the mediocre movie interpretation (and I do like the movie, but I love the Fosse Rag more).

Do you mean the Fosse original, or the Reinking choreography? I'm not sure I've seen video of the Fosse original...

Well that was terrible. I do love Kate Hudson on Glee, though.

They're also doing Being Alive next episode, which I am completely certain is going to crush my soul.

I like Hudson as a bitch more than I have in any other role for the past ten years. But... She really is not much of a dancer--she poses and is lifted and twirled around--her first big dance number where she said "I'll dance circles around you" and then literally everyone danced circles around her just showed this. Couldn't she have been a bitchy acting coach or something instead (it's not like Glee needs the excuse of a dance class to have people dance).

This version of Jazz is also done no favours by being filmed so incoherently even by Glee standards.

Oh, please. Obviously, Rachel Berry has challenged her dance teacher to a dance-off, er, squat-off! It happens at all the best schools and only enhances a student's GPA.

Or this is revenge on those of us who complained about the lack of show tunes this season.
