ALW's The Beautiful Game/The Boys in the Photograph

So tonight when randomly browsing through ALWs website (I was pretty bored) I came across a listing for The Boys in The Photograph US Tour which is listed as being a reworked The Beautiful Game. Now I know there are many people that aren't fans of ALW, but I was able to see TBG in London and absolutely loved it. I wasnt aware that he was re-working the show for a North American remounting.

The link goes to the Mirvish theatre in Canada, but ALW's page lists it as a US tour, so not sure if it's coming to US theatres after the Mirvish. Also, ALWs page still just lists The Beautiful Game, with no mention of a new title or re-working. Does anyone know of anything about this? I'm interested in learning more...

The Toronto run has been cancelled but there will be a short run production at the Manitoba Theatre Centre in May.

I attended the final performance of The Beautiful Game and found it to be one of Lloyd Webber's best shows. It did need a little work, but overall, I was really impressed with it. I do remember something very odd about one of the songs near the end. The lyrics were completely at odds with the melody and it just needed to be completely rewritten. I have to listen to the CD again to figure out which song it was, though. And there were a couple of other songs that need to revisit the lyrics, but I'm confident they have already addressed that. But the new title sucks. The Boys in the Photograph sounds like gay porn.
