...(hello again everyone, I have been on a 5 years hiatus, but I am back on the message boad)

My daughter is looking into AMDA Univ. in LA.  Can you give me feedback about the school?  I am most interested in Financial Aid and proficiency of the school to train her properly.  Thanks guys!  Good to be back.

Please please please talk your daughter out of going there. It's 2000% not worth the money you will pay. I attended the NY campus for one year and it's a mess and not a real college, and as far as I am aware, not accredited so she'll have to start over if she decides to transfer.

I lived in LA for a year and made some friends who studied at that campus, and they all said the same thing as perfectlymarvelous. They said it was a lot of hype, excitement and money for not a lot in return.

Not to be that guy, but I went to the competing school (AADA) and found it worth every penny. Located right on La Brea and Sunset, phenomenal teachers, cool campus, just a great experience all around. They are also nice when it comes to scholarships, so I would highly recommend looking into it!

I am big. It’s the REVIVALS that got small.

Thank you guys for the valuable, and money saving, advice.  I sat through the orientation and felt they were too pushy is their presentation.  Awfully expensive, for nothing in return.  Thanks again.

Steer clear. Very clear. Speaking from experience... or consequently, the lack thereof.
