Yeah, this production was always announced as closing September 6th and then a tour. 

Too bad they won’t make it through May.

I think Liza probably just misremembered the Chicago changes, but I’d love for her to be confusing it with her solo Nowadays performance on Dinah Shore (surprise Chita at the end). 

Replacing GC is hard because it’s written specifically for his identity and his exposure. 

At first I was thinking they could swap out Gary Coleman for Britney (“I made a lot of money that got stolen by my folks&rdquo?format=auto&width=600 but that line has to rhyme with Strokes, and is later followed by his catchphrase.

Every child star, that’s internationally known, who had money stolen by family (that I can think of at least) doesn’t have that kind of immediately recognizable catchphrase. 

Sounds cool. I’m in. 

I was in the same lobby as Benanti, Tveit, and at least two dozen tween/teen MT students a couple years ago. They went nuts when they noticed Tveit and nearly ran into Benanti trying to get to him. 

Last time I went (2023, and it had been a minute before that) was the most disappointing experience. My food was absurdly salty and my dining companion’s lasagna was legitimately still frozen in the center. Just like the earlier commenter, waiter just walked away with it and seemed dead behind the eyes. Was a bummer but hope upcoming changes are for the best!

Sorry to double post, but I almost forgot - she said “I got my balls from my mother” and that will stay with me forever. 

I was hoping they had managed an alternate way of her getting out unseen. I walked by what seemed like an exit and noticed a wheelchair ramp, have no idea if it was for her - but I had seen everything I needed so didn’t opt for a stage door.

Checked out a couple reviews - still excited for the book even if I’ve cooled on the events a bit. Genuinely surprised at some things she’s addressing since she’s been tight lipped about a lot of her life (or spinning it in a positive light, like the documentary).

Somehow I didn’t hear there are four authors. Which makes Michael’s inclusion all the stranger…

I think it’s probably just not that common of a topic in published YA novels so they’re few and far between. I take it as they’ve been waiting for them to merge again.
