I have very little context for the material, but have to ask after looking at the production photos - is there really an evil stepmother/sisters plotline? I can’t help but notice his influence in those three characters and their costuming/grouping.

Silly question re: TOFT - have they been digitizing old recordings in their archive? I’m also intrigued at the rights of it all. Obviously they can’t be made for a wide release or anything, but how would digitizing cause rights issues if kept within the archive and barriers currently in place?

I have a hard time believing Julie Taymor will let them ruin the show in any way, she’s protective of her baby/money maker. Interested to see what they end up doing. I have a soft spot for TLK and coming back to NY next year for the 30th anniversary!

Surely you understand the difference. Also - comparing mic amplification to cheating, in 2026, is a good one. 😂 Doesn’t change the fact that it’s a live orchestral performance. People are so eager for Wicked to fail in some way that they end up looking foolish making threads like this.
