I’ve seen her respond to comments (multiple times) telling her that she’s going about this the wrong way, and her reply is “well my engagement is still going!” - as if said engagement is going to help her with future employment? 

$350-750 range with more expensive packages/VIP/etc. 

Could you try past-dating them on your next visit? It’s been years since I’ve done it so I could be forgetting stipulations - but it’s possible that something in your schedule could open up again. 

They could do what The Addams Family did - rework (again) for the non-equity tour, and use a soundboard of that cast for licensing rather than a proper recording. 

As if the majority of ticket buyers are even aware of the specificity of Garland’s wardrobe vs the costumes of this show. 🙄 As Kad said, they fit the style and aesthetic quite well.

Changing the costumes would do absolutely nothing for the way this play is written, directed, or performed. You’d still be watching a trans woman in Judy drag being directed the way she is now.  

Any chance someone on here is seeing this? The merch site doesn’t have everything (like the souvenir program) and I would love to arrange something if possible!

F*ck it, I’ll bite. 

Who do you sincerely think should have won the Tony for Best Musical that year? Paradise Square? Mr. Saturday Night? Girl From North Country?

I imagine her/her management was asking for more due to the offer of Beaches out of town (which started not long after the tour launched) and they saw the road to originating on Broadway vs replacing? Total guess on my part. 

Maybe Jessica Vosk leads the tour? She said they were in talks before, and had previously been open to touring (she was up for Company but they couldn’t afford her). She has a rather strong social media following, which could be good for tour sales…unless they plan on keeping Beaches open through the summer. 

No one in this (had to be relatively small) group noticed this rando following them and being in the dressing room until Vosk said something?

It’s likely very true that “all books were signed by the author” - because the author is Michael Feinstein.

Just like the book itself, Liza authorized Michael ‘to do what he needs to do’. This is essentially an authorized signature done by Michael and his team. 

The only surprise to me was seeing autographs actually on the page - my two copies from Million Dollar Theater were on large blank stickers that I stuck inside. 

Never official? It’s in the site link you shared, as well as the translated statement. They’re simply changed course.

The man has like a dozen action flicks & other huge films in his filmography and has done quite well for himself, even if we disagree with his “journey”. Let’s not pretend that his film career is some “failed attempt” when he is financially better off than most of this board. 

On another note - Joshua Henry opening with “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”. Something that seems wonderful in concept but just…kind of happened? Not sure how this ties into the Gala theme, but same could be said for half the attendees and exactly half of the co-chairs.

It does appear that all of their promotional performances have been pulled but all of their interviews are still up.

However , it also appears that you can get a whole lot more than just that one song, if you catch my drift.
