What “big confusion” did Close cause, exactly? She was there to hype up the Villains Land. The bit was referencing the Maleficent ride and how she (Cruella) deserves one too. Whether that comes to fruition or not, we’ll see. They only officially announced two attractions for the Land. Close was fine. There’s also no real confusion because next to nothing was actually announced this year other than, “we’re still working on the things we announced last time!”

Two grown men who don’t usually like musicals strongly recommended the film to me - as someone said, watchable but not much more than that. When it finished and I said it was ‘fine?’ I was told, “you’ll understand when you’re older”. Well it’s been almost a decade and I understand it even less now. The real story of PT Barnum is more interesting, albeit less Disney-family-friendly.

It’s a site-specific immersive experience. You’re not paying that much just to see a movie. You’re not getting “Oz at the Sphere” anywhere other than Las Vegas.As if that movie needs any further restorations to begin with. It’s in 4K Ultra HD. It’s been restored a dozen times since 1989 alone. What more could there possibly be to restore? Stay home. You’re not the audience they’re going for.

I’m honestly not that crazy about Hamilton - but I have preordered both The Anthology and the Collector’s 4K. I make a point to support physical media and I think these releases, while not cheap, show a great effort to celebrate and honor the legacy of a show beyond what is a standard cast recording.
