Yep, I think I'll give this year a pass. More $$$ to spend when they fund raise at the theaters.
" I seem to remember that last year some of the bigger names like Vaness Redgrave and Bernadette were announced closer to the date. But still, I think the original lists lasy year included the likes of Ian McKellen, Tyne Daly, and Bebe Neuwirth. "
Sir Ian was a late addition to the list---and HE called BC/EFA and offered to do it. What a charming man!
A lot will happen in the next 12 days or so!

i think i'm the only one whos happy with this. there are a few people from one life to live which is my favorite show in the world, even though my favorites aren't gonna be there, oh well. how much do you have to donate for a picture or autograph? i'm gonna end up spending all my money on that.
Imagine the money that BCEFA could pull in if they could get Daniel Radcliffe and Katie Holmes to participate in any way.

You can find a good explination of the Celebrity Table here.
I'm not unhappy with the list so far, just unimpressed. I am certain that will change as the list is updated.
My first thought reading that list was "really?"

I'm sad that Matt, Kelli, or Paolo are not scheduled... yet. I am not giving up hope haha
The list does pack on, almost every day changes until the actual event day.
Although I remember in 2005 the list said Rosie O'Donnell and then last minute the day of she couldn't come.

Rosie was only ever scheduled at the celebrity table the year she was doing "Fiddler On The Roof" and she was definitely there. Normally she doesn't do the celebrity table, because she actually has had her own table selling stuff from "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and merch from "Taboo" and she would come and sit for hours signing stuff including post cards of her and Barbra Streisand and Tom Cruise when they were on her show for a fee for BCEFA. You can see her at her table in the extras on the "Show Business:The Road to Broadway" DVD of the flea market. She has huge heart and raised some big bucks.
She was definitely at the table in 2005. That was the only year I've bothered with the table and distinctly remember her sitting there next to Kathy Brier. She also had her son with her.

This is a terrible turn out. I was all excited to attend the signing, but will probably bypass it unless the line up changes.
Rosie was there at the table in 2005. that was the first year I went.

Does anyone know about how much things go for at the tables? This is the first year that I'm able to attend and I'm just wondering how much $$ I should bring with me. I'm mainly interested in purchasing signed posters and playbills. I contacted BCEFA about this, but the lady who responded was clueless as to what was even going on for the day.

The list changes up until that Friday. I guess "Instant Gratification" takes too long for you.

Bring what you can afford. You can get some great bargains. Doubt you'll find a fully signed window card for a buck, but I'm sure there's something there to make you happy. Enjoy the day.
