Not yet -- still waiting.

Yup, I def hafta go now too.
I...could skip class...but that would mean I could only have one more absence the rest of the year, no doubt that would include 11/23...hmm
Maybe I'll leave a bit early.

OK, scholars,
Here's the student rush policy: We will start selling student tickets 15 minutes before curtain (7:45) or when the regular line is over, whichever is first.
Student tickets will be $25! (A full $100 off).
We have reserved a handful of tickets for students (the upstairs boxes) so that at least some folks in line will get in, plus whatever we don't sell will be released.
I hope this helps people get to see the show who normally wouldn't and I encourage anyone who takes advantage of the student rush to look into volunteering for Working Playground one of these days: http://www.workingplayground.org
That's so cheap, I think I just squealed with glee.
I don't EVER squeal. Out loud.
Thus continues my love affair with student rush.
Thank you so much! (Now hopefully I get there early enough.)

Jonny, Alan was in at one point, but, sadly had to witdraw for this year.
People drop in and out all the time (Anthony Rapp just joined today). The Smarttix site is always up to date, and the list above is (fingers crossed) the final one.
Wow, hopefull I'll definately be trying but I don't know how early I can get there. *eeeeee*
Okay, who's saving me a spot? I can be there at four fifteen! (I'll bring snaaaacks!)
Assuming it doesn't rain, I'm going to get there as early as possible, and have my DellPod fully charged and a bunch of homework. I'm ridiculously far behind reading, so as long as the weather's not like it was last week *knock on wood* (though w/ all this Wilma business, I bet it'll be a mess) I'm all for camping out for a ridiculous amt of time! Hell, I've been wanting to go to one of these since I've been at school in the city. I'm so glad I'll finally get to see it. Thanks SO MUCH!!
I wish I could do that, but I have class from 9-4. aaaaah.
I have class from 9-10, but I don't think I'll be getting there that early...I can't quite afford to spend that much time in line!
Maybe I can drop off a cardboard cut-out of myself the night before and take its place after I'm done with class.
Ok- I need help making a decision.
My last class lets out at 2:50, however I have choir from 4:30-6:00 and the next shuttle to Manhatten doesn't leave until 6:40, which means I would be taking a 7:00 ferry and getting into the city at about 7:25 and assuming the subway is liking me Monday night I can be at the theatre at about 7:35.
Should I skip choir?
How hard do you think it will be to get these tickets?
And I assume it's only one per ID, right?
BUMP!!!
I second Alix's question -- how many per ID?
And who's saving me a spot?! Seriously, I'll bring you food. Or just my beautiful, smiling face. You can pick.

1 per ID. Since there potentially not that many student tickets avialable, it's only fair.
(thanks for bringing that up -- this board may get a collective associate producer credit.)
eeeeeeek! *clones self*
Would you guys consider SRO if the boxes sell out with students and the advance tickets have sold out, too?
SRO would be really good.
I need to see thiiiiiiiiis.
OMG! How am I going to get there and get in line in time??? I hate work!!!!
I second (or third?) that. SRO would be much appreciated.
There is also a link on the Rent site to a discount ticket of $75 a head instead of $125. The site was updated today with the info.

Hi, guys. Sorry I wasn't able to post today. A couple of updates.
First--full disclosure. Amanda Peet had to drop out late this afternoon. She's been a trouper for us--posing for a spread in Glamour to raise money for the charity and awareness for the show, etc. So I'm sure it's something important, though it just happened and I haven't found out what yet.
The other update is about the RENT blog. I just got the email that it was up. We are selling really well. There are no more than 75 seats left in the house. So if you really want to make sure you get in, the Rent discount is the way to go (but pay full price if you can, of course, since it's all for a good--and underfunded--cause: http://www.workingplayground.org)
For those of you who have no other option (and a valid student ID), there is still the $25 student rush. We have reserved the boxes in the balcony for students. There are not a lot of seats--12 for sure + whatever we don't sell in advance or at the door. We have a big bloc of seats for people who took advantage of a Bloomingdale's promotion and sometimes they don't show up, so there may be some opportunity there-gotta check to see if it's legal. But there could be as few as 12.
I don't want people to have to wait in line, especially if we have bad Wilma-related weather, and then have most of them be disappointed. I like the idea of the Avenue Q-stype lottery, but it seems like more of a pain in the ass for our volunteer staff.
What do people think of the lottery? If it is not a good thing, then I won't bother. The same holds true if it's poor form to announce a rush policy then change it.
Anyway, forgive the confusion, The 24 Hour Plays off-Broadway ("normal") shows have a much more informal rush procedure, so we're not used to this. If I don't get a chance to post again, assume that means there is no lottery and we will follow the rush guidelines already posted here.

It's totally cool that you guys are doing what you can, though, to help out students. We really appreciate it!
