Yeah, the Belasco is one of the worst with soundproofing. Up there with the Haimes and Longacre.

Glad it wasn't just me. I went recently and the sirens were so loud and plentiful from inside the theater, I genuinely thought there might be a disaster happening outside.

The last scene on Broadway was stage wizardry at its finest. Loved this production immensely.

Regional theaters rarely do pieces that can offend post pandemic. I'm guessing this will be for indie companies or get forgotten for a while.

I saw a production of this at Seattle Rep ten days ago. It was the first preview, so I don't want to judge too harshly. The set was really good, but the ending didn't come off well. The cast was solid. I did however truly miss Sarah Paulson's delivery of her final speech to her brothers on the staircase. That final few minutes felt really flat in this production.
