The Coffee Pot's still there.
As a general answer to the original question, I would just walk over to 9th Ave. and find someplace. There are a ton of good, affordable places to get coffee and a bite.

I've only had post-theatre dessert there once, but I really liked Pigalle on 48th and 8th.

Pigalle is good. Not as good as Chez Josephine for mousse.
The mousse is totally orgasmic.

Pigalle#34
Posted: 2/16/05 at 5:46pmLe Pain Quotidien is adorable and has to-die-for coffee and pastries. I don't know how late it's open. It's on 58th and 7th.

Fluff is fabulous.
Has anyone mentioned the Carnegie Deli? Their strawberry cheesecake is hot. And I would consider it definately in the theatre district.

Posted: 2/16/05 at 6:22pmtotally get out of the theatre district for dessert. it's so crowded, you'll never get in somewhere. atleast, not good places. go to roxy if you just want something ok. but for the good stuff, you need to get out of time square.
