? About Seating At Bernard Jacobs

I know that in some theaters it is not a good idea to sit in the first few rows because the people will need to put their heads back because at high level they will be staring at the wall below the stage.

What do people think of the first four rows of the Bernard Jacobs? I have been there but honestly don't recall ever sitting in those rows.

If you were going to see a show like Company there, would it be better to sit farther back? Yes I know everything is closed. I am planning for the future.

brdway411, you suggested sitting in the mezz. Are you saying that none of the seats in the Orchestra are good? What are your thoughts on the first four rows of the center orchestra? Would you pick the mezz over center orchestra?

I know the Jacob's isn't a subscription based theater but all the Roundabouts are American airlines, studio 54, the Sondheim (when it doesn't have a tenant,) the laura pels . Lincoln center is, the met is. . All of my subscription seats are front mezz second row center. Or equivalent depending on the theater.

The OP asked where people like to sit. I saw this production third preview (free tickets from friends). If I were seeing this again, I would want to sit front mezz center where all of my subscription seats are in other theaters.
If you had bothered to read the rest of the posts in this chain you would see what was discussed. This is why I stopped trying to help people here. No one reads the complete thread and just jump on something they were not part of from the beginning

So OP sit where you want but I am sticking with front mezz second row center.
