Totally tacky or nice to show support for the show? Your opinions please?
I would ahve to say not too do it, only because the audience isn't going to know why you did it and just think you're underdressed and a typical "young person."

How about wearing nothing but pearls to The Producers?
Yes? No?

so, should I wear blue suede shoes to ALL SHOOK UP? or how about a black and white striped jump suit?

I don't know i've seen people who dress up like witches and go to Wicked and its not a pretty sight...I'm going to have to strongly recommend that you resist the urge to do all of the above, We might have to get this thread deleted or perhaps you can plead temporary insanity...
I say go all out and arrive to the theatre in a mink tracksuit on a zamboni.
Or bring a pet chimp in a suit.
I *heart* Barb!

I would suggest leaving your mason jars at home...

personally, i would much rather go for the mink tracksuit- it'd be so classy... haha well anyways i think it would be hilarious if you wore paisley silk PJs! maybe you could wear a coat or something over the top and then take it off at the stage door... i think norbert would find that to be priceless!
Of course, we need to all dress up as Disney characters when we go to BatB or LK. ESPECIALLY if you're over the age of 10.
Sounds dressier than just wearing a sheet. (Unless you were wearing it with a pair of Ferragamo shoes.)

Ya know, although I posted this as a sort of parody of the "About wearing green to Wicked" thread ... I actually am the sort of person who probably would do this if I ever had the opportunity to see the show again. I mean a gal who has been known to wear Rocky 'n Bullwinkle men's pj bottoms to church would certainly not have any problem wearing paisley silk pj's to DRS. :)
haha! I say do it! it'd be hilarious! but where in the world did you/ are you going to find paisley silk pajamas?

this is my opinion-
i am absolutley all about wearing something special to a show...i mean thats why we love the theatre
but i also have a problem with those who dont show it the respect it deserves...as i said in a previous post..im one of those people who scoff at the people who come into shows straight off the street with their shopping bags...i never will understand them
save the jokes for the tour
