Maybe they don't want to shout those people out to everyone in the world... I know a lot of professional actors who have something a little coded in their bio. I think it's sweet.

Ya know...even though I have a website (very rudimentary), I'm not thrilled that I have to have one to promote the stuff I'm in. Frankly, I don't want people knowing more about me. But that's just me.

And, frankly, I don't fine most people fascinating enough to warrant a website (myself included).

i think its superfluous if you're working in the provinces, but if I was doing a show that industry people are likely to show up at, I'd put it in. What else is it for?

But no birth photos. Mine is strictly biz except for one pic of my wedding i snuck in. and all the links that people have requested I add for them.
