I have never thought Adam resembled Jeff Conaway in the slightest.
When Adam said "Thank God for me", my impression was one that he meant he lucked out in getting the role and had a job.

I'm still shocked that people didn't know who Kenickie was in the Grease picture! God, I feel so old!
And unlike Wax Lion I don't see any Adam in there... There is just one!

I as well am shocked that people dont know who Kenickie is! Rent it kids!
anyway I seem to be the only one that agrees with wax lion, IF we are talking about the SLC punk Adam. Like in the picture i have compiled here that i am realizing doesnt really prove the point so much but these are the only two caps online from the movie that i could find

Bump and "Oy!" just because I like this thread.

I sort of kind of see it. A little bit. Maybe if I turn my head this way and squint...?
Nah. I guess I could see something in it, looking at those pictures.

ok I realize that no matter who we are talking about, they have nothing on Adam.....BUT....I think i was wrong it hit me at work that it is Kenicki on the right NOT THE ONE I POSTED, i am sooo ashamed of myself for not knowing BUT in my defence the real Kenicki looks nothing like Adam! the other one i see
sorry for confusing the situation, i think ive managed to confuse myself.

Jeff Conway and Adam Pascal look nothing similar to me at all. They both have their looks but Adam wins hands down.
Adam could probably pull off Kenicke, but Jeff can't pull off any of Adam's roles.
Plus Adam is just too damn beautiful :)

Posted: 6/11/05 at 1:22amNah, Adam (or should I say THE Adam?) is too good for Knickie, or however you spell it

Posted: 6/11/05 at 1:29amDancingthrulife04 is not seeing any Adam/Kenickie resemblance. Also, the one all the way to the left is not Kenickie. Kenickie is on the right.

I think that Adam is much better looking than the guy in Grease. I also think if Wax Lion saw a resemblence, one of three things must have happened.
1. Wax Lion was drunk
2. Wax Lion can see what I can't and therefore, more power to Wax Lion
3. Wax Lion's Mark glasses are effecting Wax Lion's vision.
Also, freeadmission, you are not the only one to find Adam as unattractive. If you were, there would be a lot more fangirls and fanboys posting their 'Adam is hot and who gives a damn if he can sing or act'. <------ I actually heard a girl say this to her friends while she looked at the article in People. I twitched.
P.S. Does anyone else think it would be really cool if Adam played Danny one day? Feel free to smack me, but I'd find it kinda amusing (especially if I could be Sandy *cough*)

And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

This is all so confusing! I still don't know which guy Wax Lion thinks resembles The Adam.
incendiary_wit, I know a lot of people who usually DO think Adam is hot, to whom I showed the pictures in People, and they're hating his hair.
He could do it, but that's the kind of role that's in his comfort zone. He needs to keep stepping out of that.

I'm just imagining the dance moves during Greased Lightning and I'm a happy girl.
Yeah, comfort zones...hate those things. Well, he could play Sandy with the longish hair. =8-> (meant in jest...don't kill me)

There are only 2 guys in leather jackets in the picture. Well you all should know what John Travolta looks like (If you don't you should be shot) so that leaves the other guy in the leather jacket. That is Jeff Conway who played Kenicke
I hope I helped clear the confusion
Enjoy your day :)
