re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

I was unaware a Wicked movie was a real possibility. Would it be anytime soon, or would they wait till it closes? Pascal would be great in the part because he does sounds like a more "rock" version of Norbert. Also he looks the pretty boy part better and isn't the greatest actor, so the underwritten role is one he can handle no problem.

LOL beacon! I think I scared him enough. I'm going to be good tomorrow. I'm getting really nervous!

I love my Adam, but he isn't the greatest actor. Talented nonetheless, though, and I would like to see him do better.

yes, not the BEST actor. Yet i admire/respect him because it seems like he is always willing to improve and try new things.

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

wasn't meant as a dig. I don't go to see Pascal for his acting. I do consider myself a fan of his and see him perform as much as I can, because I love hearing him sing. He's not a bad actor but I wouldn't cast him in a non-musical.

*sigh*

I love Denial... but in Real Life, Adam really isn't that great of an actor. But he allegedly did well in Cabaret, and that's not an underwritten part. (I think, I don't actually know) Maybe more material makes it easier?

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

I don't know - I was so proud of him in Cabaret. He really has grown as an actor and just did a beautiful job. And I don't just say that because I'm a fan. I was truly impressed.

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

So maybe if he gets more Cabaret-esque parts, he will act better? Fiyero is out, then. What would you cast him in?

Hedwig! Not that that's going to happen, but come on!

I wish Taboo hadn't died so quickly, I would like to see him as Marilyn... His Genocide Peroxide would rock.

ETA- or maybe Marcus?

Oh my God! Marilyn!! How funny would that be?
I could see Marcus, though. Could you imagine how his "I See Through You" would sound? AHH!

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

I See Through You would rock beyond words. Cary Shields is a little weak, I'd love to hear angry, rocker Adam. If only it wasn't closed!

Weak? Cary? No way.

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

I thought it could've been better... and he was awful as Roger on broadway, but I hear his tour Roger was one of the best.

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

You know who would make a good Fiyero?
...

Cheyenne Jackson!

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

now i could be wrong here but in theory couldn't the bulk of those actors who played roger in rent play fiyero (norbert was a roger so it seems to be the same range)
the same goes for former maureens as elphaba?

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

Ew! Is there anyone else out there who thinks Adam Pascal's voice is like nails on chalkboard?! I think he's horrific. He completely ruins Elaborate Lives by screeching his way through it.

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

I'm sure Adam would be great (on broadway) in this part, but it just seems that he wouldn't do it becuase it is such an obvious choice.
Now if they approached him to do a movie, that's another story...

re: Adam Pascal as Fiyero

Take us back to that interview last week... the one where he talks about wanting to do things that are the complete opposite of the obvious choice. More power to him!
