I think Adam's best note in AIDA has to be when at the end of "How I know you" he and Aida both sing..he sings "Hoooow I know you" and she sings "Yooou don't know me".

I just looked in my songbook, and the note he hits is not listed. I tried playing and finding the note he does hit, and I THINK it's a high C sharp....YIKES!

When I cant find anything I pray to St. Anthony. (And i am NOT religious at all!) Just keep saying
"Tony Tony Look Around,
Somethings Lost,
And Must(Cant) Be found
CANT/MUST - its your prefernence. It helped me last week when I almost had a panic attack when i couldnt find my photo album that had all my broadway pictures in it.

If it's a high C sharp, that he CAN hit. He did it for Chess. We tried to figure out a while ago exactly WHY he had trouble with it, but I'm no singer, so I don't know. I guess I always assumed that it was because of the big jump between "that note" and the one previous to it. At least in Pity the Child once he was up there, he could keep singing really high. Who knows? His vocal range allows for it, that I know.

I am a singer - though i am no expert. But i am assuming its because he tries to belt the note. If he was using his head voice he could definately hit it.

Good call Emcee, it is the big range jump. Also, the problem is the vowel sound. The word "will" has a strange vowel sound, mix between an "eh" and an "ee." Makes it ten times harder to sing a C sharp with a strange vowel sound, plus the huge jump.

i hate singing 'will'. it's a pain in the butt. now i know why adam has trouble.
