Everyone keeps talking about the "Broadway video crew" but the camera guy was standing right behind me and he said that it was for Adam himself. Apparently he's going to be on The View in January (which some of you might already know) and they needed to get a solid minute of footage for it.

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

That's great to hear, not only to see some of the concert again, but it's an indication that he'll be interviewing and not just performing on the show.

My mistake Iwannabe.... Broadway.com was there at the first Joe's Pub concert and I assumed they were there again.

Either way, there will probably be press photos. And I'm psyched that I'll be able to see video of this on The View, then. YAY!

Just catching up with this thread ...

Reading some other reviews makes me realize how much I had already forgotten again. It believe it's time to 're-visit' this gig re: Adam Pascal's gig at The Knitting Factory I'm sure some details will pop into my mind again.

Ha... I hate that. Thankfully, when I do stuff like this, I can always remember things VERY vividly. When somethings's really important to me, I can store the details perfectly. It's crazy, but being able to "re-live" and tell about it makes it not-so sad that it's over. re: Adam Pascal's gig at The Knitting Factory

And my cell phone and I had a LOVELY time. re: Adam Pascal's gig at The Knitting Factory

Just thought some people might be interested to read the order of songs he did on Wednesday (and to correct my original post when I thought he started off with Ordinary Men Abound), so:

10,000 Miles
Book Of Endings
Ordinary Men Abound
Civilian
Something Of Ours
Model Prisoner
Ringing In My Ear
No Trace
Tomorrow And The Sun
I'm With You
Beautiful Song (encore)
Wonderchild (encore)

Also noticed how much he was checking out the audience this time. He usually has his eyes closed a lot but this time we was really checking people out. Maybe increased confidence?
OK, I'm now getting pathetic and into too many details re: Adam Pascal's gig at The Knitting Factory

By the way, changed my signature to acknowledge his amazing and very angry version of Civilian on Wednesday re: Adam Pascal's gig at The Knitting Factory

Civilian is one of my favorite songs on his new album. I wish I could have heard his version from the other night. In any case, thanks everyone for posting about it...

Amasis, as you probably gathered from QM's review, the situation in your part of the world was very much in his thoughts. He went into quite a bit of detail about how Doctors Without Borders go into devastated areas and how they need money now.

Hmmm. I wouldn't say that I love when he's angry, per se... I guess because if all of this awful sh*t wasn't going on, then he wouldn't be so upset about it. But, I *do* love that his heart is in the right place, and that underneath that bad boy, rock star persona, he's really sensitive. I love that his music has meaning, and the feeling he puts into each and every one of his performances.
