The Pantages was, for years, one of LA's premiere movie houses. You can see it in Garland A Star Is Born premiere footage, and it's where I saw Spartacus, Gypsy, The Great Race and many, many other films. I worked there as an usher during the showing of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf - my employment there was legendary and which I'll get around to writing about someday.

I heard a story that when he was doing Into The Woods, at some performances, they had to cut Giants in the Sky, because he couldn't get through the song. Is there any truth to that?
I thought he did a great job as Boq.

DrTheatre- Im not sure who your friend is, but Adam is one of the most kind, humble, generous, and hysterical actors I have EVER met. He was SOOOOO nice when I met him after Wicked in LA, and has been the same every time since then.
A short story to display his coolness:
At his final performance on Dec 30th, he was outside with his family before the show trying to win the lotto, so that his girlfriend and family and such could see the show. Needless to say, because it was Eden Espinosa's final performance, there were over 700 people trying their luck at the lotto. Well after chatting with him and his family at the lotto, I offered to give his girlfriend(who is as cute as EVER) my second ticket to the show(if I won... only needed 1 tix.) Well I didnt win, but his family did so horray...
Got a ticket from someone else in front of the theatre, saw the show, amazing, blah blah blah, eden blew the roof off the house, and Adam improved 300% since his first performance in wicked LA in Feb (i saw the LA cast FIRST performance(feb 10) and then eden/adam/carol final(dec 30)). After the show, I went back to the stagedoor, where there were probaly 300 people waiting to meet Eden and Megan.
Low and behold, there was Adams family waiting for him! Well we chatted some more, and then Adams friend came out to get his family, for a backstage tour of the theatre! And he invited me to come with them!!!! So i enjoyed a tour of the ENTIRE theatre given personally by Adam, including being introduced to every set piece, prop, costume area, SM area, and EVERYTHING backstage... needless to say, it was AMAZING, and i have some great pictures to remember it by!!!
All because Adam was just a really chill, cool, nice guy!]
UPDATE: Pictures from that night!!
Wig Depot in the basement, and Rack of costumes including Glindas pretty blue one!
Me and Adam with "Anatomically Correct Green Baby" caring for it B. Spears style.... His joke! not mine!
Me and the Beautiful Eden Espinosa
(on a side note, her body guards announced to the 300+ fans outside that she and Megan would not be taking pictures with fans because of the amount of people waiting... I on the other hand, got a picture with both of them! Why? Because being Backstage rocks my socks...)
The Uber talented Megan Hilty.

I saw him as Boq in April, and thought I thought he was an okay actor for the part, his interpritation was bland. I previously saw an understudy in the touring company who was on for Boq that left a better impression on me. Wylies voice cracked multiple times throughout the show, also. I felt bad for him, maybe he was having an off night, but I cringed a little bit whenever he sang.
