I remember there was a lot of media coverage in Chicago about the tomb fall. It must've been very scary. I still regret not going to the pre-broadway engagement.

In Atlanta it definitely was. In Chicago was it, too?

It was AIDA in Chicago. I saw Heather and Adam, post accident and they were great. Also loved Sheri walking out of the glass case. That was a stunning moment in theatre.

I read most of this book at my library one day...I think I had to kill time for something...well, I skimmed a lot of it, I think I was looking for passages on Adam specifically...anywayz checked again and now it is marked as "missing," most likely from the day I was reading it there...oh well, would have liked to read the parts I missed. Next time maybe I'll learn to put books back where I found them...

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
