Advice for shows to watch this weekend

So i'm in town to see the closing of Sponge bob, so I have both spots on Saturday open.

I was thinking of rushing Pretty woman, lottoing Mean girls (already seen it once) or if that doesn't work out get a SRO for cfa (which I've seen twice) or doing cancellation for MG

On sunday during the day I was going to cancellation for Be more Chill before spongebob

Does anybody have any other suggestions...like should I substitute school of rock or getting the band together for any of these thank you

I like to do two shows that are completely different from each other, when I do double-headers. For example, in February 2016, I saw the recent revival of A View from the Bridge in the afternoon, and Something Rotten! in the evening. It just gives you a day all over the theatrical spectrum.

You really do not need to see GTBBT. Nuf said.

I'd highly recommend My Fair Lady. I think that everybody should see this production.

I agree to see different kinds of shows on a 2-show day. I'd mix in Carousel or My Fair Lady (both classics... though Carousel is closing on Sunday) and then watch a more modern/contemporary musical like Be More Chill or Pretty Woman.

Also check out Girl from North Country. It was a hit in West End and will start previews off-bway at the Public theater tonight. It will have a mobile rush on todaytix.

Sounds like you are mainly attracted to lighthearted more modern musicals, but you also did like CFA which is a bit more serious. So, maybe try DEH as it is popping up at TKTS more now (still may be more than your budget though). Also, maybe Anastasia, Frozen, Head Over Heels, or Kinky Boots. I have only seen Kinky Boots, but these all seem to have something you might enjoy: either lighthearted fun, romance or modern elements. They are all not shows I would recommend for me, but they seem recommendable for you.

you're absolutely right, I will try DEH I've seen it 3 times already (twice with BP) but I haven't seen it awhile, what time is good to get SRO tickets are cancellation tickets

Anastasia was so good when I saw it make sure to stagedoor it if you see it because the cast is so nice.

Frozen was also spectacular

you probably already saw Wicked but that's really

I'd recommend rushing Pretty Woman! The seats are in the front row, and if you use the cushions provided, you have a great view :)

I'd also recommend The Play That Goes Wrong. I believe the rush tickets are $30, and if you want a laugh, there's no funnier play on Broadway right now. HIGHLY recommend.
