can you be a bit more specific on mickey??? ive never seen/heard him before, and all im getting from you guys is that he is bad and should be shot. anything in particular that he does wrong? just wondering

He sounds more like he's yelling than singing, and he just... isn't evil enough. John REALLY scared you. Micky is just kind a guy who looks funny.

It's the compressed face and the oblong chin. I can totally see it.

He's just goofy. You don't hate him, you don't like him (I mean Zoser), he illicits no emotion from you except for distaste for the actor. He speaks instead of sings (and really, John H really rocks his few songs with his *singing* voice), and he always has this smarmy (but not evil) smirk on his face. And during a blooper when I saw him in the show w/ Will Chase, he actually smiled through the whole "Like Father Like Son" bit and winked at him! (Okay, I guess the rest of the audience wouldn't have noticed the wink - I was in the front row - but SMILING?)

wow okay that makes me feel better about missing out on seeing him. one of my less broadway-intelligent friends saw it and she liked him a lot. now im starting to wonder what the heck she was thinking. o well.

Hey guys... I can't believe Sunday is coming up so soon. I'm gonna cry the whole show, I think. I actually have a ticket in the orchestra row K, but...

I just wanted to let you guys know, in case you are interested, that I have an extra ticket to Sunday's show (9/5, final perf.) that I am selling. My friend was supposed to go, but now she cannot. It's in the second row of the mezzanine (Row A, seat 1

. I am selling it at face value. PM me or e-mail me if you are interested. I figured I'd let you guys know since you're fans of the show and stuff....

Well, I guess I shoulw start perparing myself for Sunday (first Caroline and now this!!!!

Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Apart of me is really looking forward to Sunday. I know during the show I'm going to wish it wouldn't end but I'm still looking forward to being there. Around 5:30 that afternoon I'm sure I will begin my mourning.

Maybe I will wear all black that day. I think I need a moment. brb

LOL! Part of me is really excited, but I don't know whether to be excited, or sad. If I focus too much on being sad, I think the show will go by too quickly for me. I'll sit there, and like... when Adam is done singing Fortune, I know I'll think "Oh no. That's the LAST time he's ever going to sing Fortune," and so on and so forth. I don't want to do that to myself. I'm going to try not to be terribly sad until it really is over, but I'm not sure how it's going to be. I'll be crying for sure, probably through most of the show. Goodbyes always come too soon.

luvtheEmcee - I totally agree with you. I will be thinking the entire time that this will be the last time I see it performed live. It will be the last time I see the Nubians cry out "AIDA! AIDA!" This is going to be such a depressing weekend. I hate to say good bye to anything that I love.

This is making me really sad! When I was there today, you know, at 6 a.m, I was looking at all of the pictures and the marquee and thinking to myself "Oh my God. Come Monday morning, this will all be gone." On Sunday, I just want to enjoy the show like I always do, and try not to be sad until it's over. That's probably better.

I thought the same thing last weekend when I went into the city. I went by the stage door after the 8pm show just to see who will becoming out, knowing that this will be one of the last times that I keep to see the performers after the show. I'm going to truly do my best to keep my mind off of it, although listening to the sound track isn't helping.

There's something totally wrong about all of this. It's just not right!!!
