I saw it. Its not a theme park show. Some of the sets were amazing. Some of them were alright. The costumes deserved a tony nod. the direction was fine. The book could have been better. But it was okay. I just feel Aladdin does not have the best themes in it to be a big musical. What is Disney's obsession with over 2hour and 30 minute musicals?

Posted: 11/12/18 at 9:16pmI went in with lowered expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It is a big theatre. We sat in box seats. It was my first time sitting in the box and I enjoyed it, especially the legroom. As far as my rating, I’d probably give it a 7.5.

Thank you for asking these Aladdin questions.
But what is the full thought of the 1 to 10 inquiry? What does 1 represent? Is ONE the top mark, like in first place?

I will say, Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at Disneyland Resort was better IMO.
The show is ok, but the Genie carries the entire thing. It is a SUPER weak book, and though some of the costumes and sets are quite beautiful, you're not missing out on much.
DISCLAIMER: I only have seen the tour version at the Pantages in LA, but from what I hear it is pretty much the same.
