I don't know if this was said before, but Michael James Scott is joining the Australia Aladdin production as the genie.

Could the leads transfer to the tour the same way the Gavin lee and Ashley brown transferred to the mary poppins tour?

I'm not sure how fluid contracts are (i.e., if they could transfer a Broadway contract to a tour), but wouldn't it be a quick turnaround if they end on Broadway end of February and then open the tour April 11? What with rehearsing and teching a new production that I'm sure will have different technical elements than Broadway?

Yes! That is great news. The principals are giving fantastic performances. I hope I can finally get my friend to see the show now.
