I hope they make a cast recording. I wonder what the orchestra will be like. I enjoy these new songs to an extent, but I think with some good orchestrations they could really be great.

I really like the songs and they'll sound even better with full orchestrations.

The changes made to the Genie will be interesting as the character was meant to be more like Fats Waller or Cab Calloway in the original concept rather than Robin Williams in animated form

I really hope Disney puts up the money for a cast recording of this if they don't plan on bringing the show to Broadway! The music sounds amazing and it would make sense to have a reference recording if they plan on releasing the rights for regional companies.
