Richard Kind was amazing...I saw the show just shortly after Alan left (replaced by Roger Bart). Richard is a great stage actor and I personally thought his singing was perfect for the role...I mean its a role that doesnt require you to sound like Emile from South Pacific..I thought he was perfect for the role
P.S. (I am overjoyed that Gary Beach is coming back next week!!!)

I saw the 2 of them the week before they left and I enjoyed the show immensly. I thought that for the characters they were playing the acted and sang each one quite well.
There was a woman cackaling at everything in the orchestra section that made them break character every other scene. Thats some of the fun of live theatre though.

I saw Richard twice - both times with Roger, not Alan. The first time I left thinking his singing was "good" but the second time he really impressed me. He did a great job as Max, and this is coming from someone who's seen Nathan and Brad too.
