Is anyone else excited about seeing Baldwin play Dr. Dysart in EQUUS this summer. It'll be at the John Drew Theatre in East Hampton, NY.

Shaffer is rewriting portions of the material? That's crazy! He didn't do any rewrites for the West End or Broadway revivals but he is now?

If we didn't just have one, I'd say a B'way revival was in the works...

Love Alec Baldwin, but having just seen the recent Broadway revival, I can't say I love the show - kind of creaky.

Having just seen the revival, I don't think anyone can ever come close to Richard Griffiths. Best Dysart I've ever seen- so powerful another interpretation would just seem pathetic.

Don't like Equus at all.

Would much rather see Alec in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.

Interesting. I haven't been out to Guild Hall since the remodel, so I guess I've found a reason to venture out there.

Since so many of you will travel out of your way to see this, maybe we should all pick a date and meet up for dinner at one of the local restaurants before the show.
