I liked California bumper sticker!
I was going to suggest that Alice had a tattoo on her thigh saying "Emily Was Here," but I guess truth has intervened.
^ that made me giggle, Reg.
California bumper sticker is a new one for me! I'm going to have to refer to my tattoo as such.
oh! there's also a German slang word for lower back tattoos. Arschgeweih, or "arse antlers".

HA!!! "oh! there's also a German slang word for lower back tattoos. Arschgeweih, or "arse antlers". "
OMG. THAT I have to use. LMAO
Unless the tatoo is an arrow pointing down with the words
ANYBODY'S GIRL,
having a tatoo there does not a tramp make.
A little sunshine rising from yer crack is cute.

Leia947, the point that I was trying to make is that I wasn't intending to call you a tramp. I was saying that most of the girls I have met who have a tattoo in that part of their body are in fact a little slutty and aren't afraid to show it.

Which is a very far cry from:
"But the thing is that most of the girls who have tram stamps are well...Tramps. But, they know that they are tramps and don't see why everyone else thinks that is wrong".
You left out your qualifier. Besides, what about the girls you have met that have "arse antlers" (love that), but don't show you that they have one? Not to mentiion, not everyone thinks tramps are wrong.
What I meant was that the girls that I know that might have them I don't know anything about. That I find that it is the girls who do flaunt them are a little on the slutty side and what I meant about people was that they don't understand why there are people out there who find it wrong to be that way. As if to say that the people who do feel that being slutty is wrong are in the wrong for thinking so.

Look how one little phrase and description of said phrase hijacked a thread.
And ghostlight2, you're awesome. I think I love you a little bit after this thread LOL
I just happen to like keeping all of my tattoos cover-able for a work environment. Hence the reason why I had the sun put on my lower back.
There are plenty of places on your body that you can cover up. Why would you intentionally choose a place that broadcasts to the world "I sleep around"? (I'm not saying that you do sleep around, but that is the impression that a tramp stamp gives, hence the name.) I honestly just don't understand why anyone would choose to brand themselves with something called a tramp stamp and then freak out when someone mistakenly thinks they're a tramp.
Yes, it's completely unfair and wrong, but image and perception is unfortunately important in this world.
I have three tattoos: on my foot, my ankle, and my chest right below the collarbone. All are very easily coverable. People I work with are often surprised to find out I have even one tattoo. And none of them has a name that implies sluttiness.
I got my tattoo on my lower back because it was able to be covered and because I don't know if it would work anywhere else. plus mine is a little higher than most tramp stamps. I personally don't mind when people call it a tramp stamp, because I do myself. I know I don't sleep around, so it doesn't matter.
I'm surprised people still say "tramp".
this is in response to the person who stated laura benanti has a tramp stamp... that is soo hott. I wanna see it! lol

I was in the mezz and could see Alice's tattoo from there.
I have 2 tattoos myself. One on my ankle and one on the inside of my wrist. Both Chinese symbols. One means "good luck" and the other means "forever in my heart" for an ex-girlfriend.
