I saw her Live when she was in Chicago and I must say, I was disappointed. She was very sharp on the night I saw her and her defying gravity was being shouted. Maybe it was just an off night. Definitely not the greatest Broadway actress to grace the stage, in my humble opinion

Greatest Broadway actress is a lot. But, I do REALLY enjoy her work, and I also saw her in Chicago and thought that she was the best Elphaba I had ever seen.

I am obsessed with Matilda, and I saw Lauren Ward and Jill Paice in the roll of Miss Honey half a dozen times each, and I cannot believe how much of a revelation Alison Luff is to the role. She puts so much emotion into it, it's insane. The 4 times I've seen her, she actually sobbed during "My House." While I obviously have the upmost respect for Ms. Ward and Paice, Alison Luff is playing the role of Miss Honey the way it was always meant to be.

Ever. In Broadway's history. You crazy. You not knowing what you talking about.

Ha, nice try Jorge but c'mon...ever to grace the stage?
I guess you haven't lived long enough yet to have experienced some of the greatest Broadway actresses!

Alison is a wonderful singer-actress and she brings a lot of color and dimension to the role not see before with most Elphaba's. As for seeing the show numerous times after Idina's special creation (not my favorite), my top two favorites are:
Jackie Burns & Willemijn Verkaik...they are suberb both vocally & acting wise.
Nothing can match though the chemistry between Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel's performance in the original production.
