I really don't see what is so funny about Sally playing the mayor in ALL SHOOK UP. I think it is great casting or her. Care to elaborate why you don't?

Well, I am a kid and I have auditioned for one of the roles in Singin' in the Rain at the Ogunquit Playhouse, and I auditioned last monday, and I got a call back, and I won't know if I got in or not 'til tomorrow (Sunday). And the first show is one Wednesday (a preview)! Now that is waiting til the last second.

I have a feeling Ogt cast them simply because of their name, if that's the case. Lots of people who go to see shows there would be familar with them (from seasons past) and wouldn't mind paying the 50 bucks or so to see them perform.

Age is the least of the casting issues... she is so damn small and girly that she will look ridiculous trying to be a man.
He at least is convincingly dorky and forgettable. At least he is not trying to pull off CHAD!
