I did get to see Carolee Carmello in Mamma Mia, but I would have liked to have seen more of the Mother and the two friends. I didn't really care too much for the daughter. Mamma Mia is fun fluff, I'd rather hear ABBA sing that see Mamma Mia again. All Shook Up took Elvis tunes and turn in some spectacular orchestrations. It's all opinions but I found All Shook Up much more interesting, not hard to follow and a pleasure to see and hear the wonderful actors. It's always hard to see something close, knowing how hard people put into a show. I do think it should have had a longer run, just like La Cage Aux Folles revival should still be running. All Shook Up would win in my books over Mamma Mia, but both are fun shows.
