She's a cutie. I loved her in HAIRSPRAY as 'Free-Wheeling' Brenda and Penny.
It was a cute number. I wish they did more than just dance, though. Does that make sense? I want to see it in
Chicago still in December.
And would someone please give Cheyenne a comb?

I really enjoyed their performance. Jen was lovely and Cheyenne was blond!! I screamed lol. It was a great performance. Looks like it's gonna be a fun show.
Good Vibrations on the other hand...well...remember mamma mia's winter garden show choir...yeah...not rushing for tickets.

I agree, Bwaytheatre. Homeboy needs some GEL. Get that floppy mop in PLACE. He was fantastic though. Even with blond hair.

Jennifer Gambatese is one of my favorite actresses. She was great in Hairsprayand she's great in this.
Cheyenne was wearing a wig. (almost positive)
I can't wait to see the show in Chicago :)

Posted: 11/25/04 at 9:57amI agree -- I think the show was really fun and high-energy and did what it set out to accomplish -- have fun and get that song stuck in people's heads and get people to want to come and see the show. Jennifer Gambatese was precious and the choreography was appropriately fun, I thought. Sickly looking forward to it.

I actually thought blonde Cheyenne wasn't to bad on the eyes but this is the first time I've ever seen him in anything (or at all, lol besides his head shot.)

I really can't get over how Cute Jenn was! She is soo taleted! I hope this show does well for her and evreyone else in it! I think it was a great show in CT and it's only going to get better!
Cheyenne is really tan to be a blond.. but I an glad they are keeping him a blond other wise they might as well name chad elvis.. and thats sooo not the point!

Yay! I really was not looking forward to this or Good Vibrations...the whole 'Mamma Mia!/Movin' Out' thing was being overdone. But I thought it looked great! I love that song, and I can all of the sudden see how much of a great musical this could be. Good Vibrations is a different story (I just don't think I could sit through 2 and a half hours of high pitched Beach Boys songs).
Anyway, yay for All Shook Up!

I just caught the parade performance (damn the west coast). Call me a shill if you wish, but I'm even more excited for this show than I was before. Although it was strange seeing an ensemble twice the size of the one used in CT.
I'm not a fan of Cheyenne's blond hair either, but I can tell already I'll like him more than Manley.
Jenn Gambatese was fabulous.
The costumes also look great!

Cheyenne was AWSOME!!! LOVED HIM!!! I'm SO excited about this show now! I am SOOOOO not excited about GOOD VIBRATIONS, that looked bad to me. I think it might have a good run though, just because of all the Beach Boy fans.

So I may get shot for this but...
That "All Shook Up" performance was dreadful. And I know he is well loved around her but...I think Cheyenne jackson is a mediocre talent who soars by on good looks...I've seen him in many shows in Seattle and have never been impressed...I think he has a weak singing voice...Just my opinion, had to type it...

I've had numerous "discussions" with crazy Jackson fans and he did nothing to prove me wrong and them right. Poor dear can't really dance can he? And he was much better looking as a brunette. As I've said in the past, there are certain actors who it is completely forbidden to have an honest opinion about at BWW and Jackson is one of the top five.

Exactly...
He was the "top dog" here in Seattle for a while, and it really only seemed to be his looks...He even managed to screw up playing Rocky in Rocky Horror Show...I'm sure he is a very nice person, and it seems that if someone is really nice, then some people feel you can't critique their talent...
