Yeah this'll change as the day goes on but as of right now, La Vie Boheme because I just spent the morning listening to it.
I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart. -Scrubs

I think "Rose's Turn" because of the sheer power and ferocity of it. It's the ultimate diva song in terms of both singing and acting!!

It's so hard to pick only one! I would probably choose either "Draussen Ist Freiheit" from Tanz Der Vampire, or "Stranger To The Rain" from Children Of Eden.

I could not even begin to pick!

It depends on my mood, etc.

But, the song that got me into theatre was Master of the House - and it is also the first song I ever performed (well, second)...

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (from POTO) - simply stunning!
DEFYING GRAVITY (from WICKED) - powerful
ALL THAT JAZZ (from CHICAGO) - stunning & sexy
CELL BLOCK TANGO (from CHICAGO) - hilarious & witty

as a songs:
PRIMA DONNA (POTO) - brilliant overlapping of melodies & lyrics
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (POTO) - great song
THE WIZARD AND I (WICKED) - another great song!
BILL (SHOW BOAT) - simple and emotional
SOMETHING WONDERFUL (THE KING & I) - one of the most beautiful theatre melodies EVER!!

Still all the songs from RENT for me. It's funny, normally with other music I have, I'll listen to it non-stop for a couple weeks but then I'll get tired of it and switch for a while but with RENT, it's been in my CD player for the past month or two and I still havent even started to get tired of it.
