You will find out eventually- trust me. It's NYC, there are police, ambulances, etc... everywhere.
For Gods sake it may be someone who had pain in their side. Yes, it could be more serious but lets not freak out until we hear some solid information.

That would be something if the 1 ton chandelier really did fall. Yeesh. Like they said let's not panic. Now, "that friend outside the Majestic." was he watching the show or was he passing by 47'th street (is that right?) and just saw the ambulances?

My friend, not a theatre lover, was walking to his hotel. He saw the crowd of press outside the Majestic and walked closer to see what was going on. Then the ambulances began arriving.

I heard a bunch of human-sized cats made their way into the alley where the stage door is located and proceeded to attack the actors, so Cats can remain the longest running show.
