Oh, please! Almost everyone knows that our own beloved Rob Diamond is in attendance--and is wearing a tuxedo. When the women and gay men in the audience take one look at how debonair he looks in tails they are bound to go into cardiac arrest.

Freaking out isn't going to make you find out the situation faster.
I'm sure people don't just walk in their homes and go onto the computer. Well, I'm sure some BWWers do but none-the-less. People have to walk home, get transportation..etc...

Phantommerik......I would think so unless it is taking a really long time to get out of the theater if there are ambulances.....there could be a huge hold up

I just checked news sites WNBC and WCBS on-line for breaking news and there is nothing about any problems at POTO. However, earlier this evening there was a traffic accident that messed up traffic and caused closures between 44th and 49th Streets. Some of these ambulances may have been part of that.

I'd be willing to bet that the show didn't start on time. I'm sure there was some sort of ceremony beforehand.

The ambulances are gone. The show has let out. Whatever was going on apparenty didn't disturb the performance.

Just got home from Phantom--the ambulances had nothing to do with the show, as far as I can tell. There was no disturbance in the audience, but maybe someone else knows more.
The show was insane and much more emotional than I'd expected it to be.

It just said that someone was sexually assaulted in mid-town, and then showed a shot of Broadway. That might be what the ambulances were there for. Of course, I just caught the end of this news clip, so no one freak out.

Everything is fine- just like I expected. If something was wrong- it would not be best to flip out in that situation either.
