My friends and I intend on seeing this on August 7, and I hear the lottery has been quite popular. So we intend on buying the tickets.
However, the offer confused the HECK out of me. We want to go Saturday night, but here's the offer.

Monday through Thursday & Sunday evenings - $75.
Fridays, weekend matinees - $85.
All prices include a $2 facility fee.
Offer valid on performances june 15 through September 4, 2010

I understand if there is no discount on Saturday night, but... doesn't American Idiot not play on Sundays? I just looked at the American Idiot website and I'm very confused.

Does anyone have any clarification about this?

Pretty sure they JUST changed their schedule. Tonight was their first Monday night show.

No Sundays until Mid-Sept.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Shows don't tend to offer discounts on Saturday night performances as that is the most popular performance of the week. Weekdays are always cheaper (for all the obvious reasons) and weekends a priced higher as they're the most popular.

Just so you know, after the lottery they always sell partial view seats for $37. It's hit and miss but sometimes you can end up with quite good ones that are barely obstructed, so if you're on a budget it's a good option.

If you go for the partial view, try and request orchestra. Usually they give them out after the boxes. If you are seated on the right side, you miss a little bit of the stairs/tower and about forty seconds total. I was in G18 and it was great. The woman next to me had a $122 ticket and it was just as partial view as mine was.

They did just change their schedule. During the summer, they are dark on Sundays. In the Fall, I believe they will go back to being dark on Mondays.
