Does anyone know if there are any places that sell the American Theater magazine? I just read that this month the Son's of the Prophet script will be in it! Do I need to subscribe to read it and if I do is it worth it? (I already get Playbill.)

If you are in the city, Drama Book Shop carries it.
Barnes and Noble might, as well.

If you are a real theatre aficionado,or working in the business, it is an excellent magazine that will monthly publish scripts of plays that have not yet been made available for purchase, as well as a great deal of informative articles.

Dear Here,

American Theatre Mag is a far better magazine that Playbill especially if you really want to know things other than fluff and gossip (not that there is anything at all wrong with fluff and gossip). A subscription is worth your time, money and effort.

It is like comparing People magazine to The Nation.

The issue containing Sons of the Prophet is already on the news stand.
