Can anyone fill me in on any other major American revivals of Pacific Overtures other than these...

Original 1976 Broadway

York 1984 run

Off-Broadway 1984-85 run

Broadway Roundabout revival

I'm dong research, and someone mentioned a Kennedy Center or Lincoln Center production. The show wasn't a part of Kennedy Center's Sondheim Celebration, but that's as much as I know. Much thanks!

You shouldnt have to trick people to read your posts...

East West Players (in Los Angeles) performed Pacific Overtures as part of their 1978-79 season, and again in April 1998. Check them out at www.eastwestplayers.org

Does anyone know if Sondheim and Prince had a backer's audition/read through for this show and Company, like they did for ALNM, Sweeney Todd, and Merrily? Just curious.

There was a very well recieved revival directed by Gary Griffin at Chicago Shakes that I traveled to the Donmar in London. I thought it was kinda tacky they used white people. But. Whatever.
