Ana Gasteyer becomes a series regular on 'Suburgatory'

Ana Gasteyer whose Broadway credits include 'Wicked,' 'The Royal Family,' 'The Threepenny Opera,' and 'The Rocky Horror Show' has become a series regular on the TV series, 'Suburgatory'. She closed the deal yesterday, " “I screamed and jumped for joy and then went right to the table read,” the actress told EW. “Sheila is a well-intended nightmare. That’s what is incredibly fun about it. She is coming from place of wanting to do it all well. She has a strong sense of propriety and she’s an excellent ally. There are episodes coming up where she’s got good intentions but they are misdirected.”

I'm happy she's found success. She's a very talented lady. I loved her on 'Saturday Night Live' and she has a great singing voice.

I only watch it in hopes that her character's son: Ryan Shay, makes an appearance. Those who've seen his first intro (exiting the black SUV) and the serie's entire 2nd episode will know exactly what I'm talking about.

I absolutely love this show and I assumed Ana was already a regular considering she appears in most episodes. The one about her dolls was HILARIOUS! I want one of those T-shirts. I wasn't terribly impressed with her in Wicked or Passion in Chicago, but this show is a better fit for her style and her talent. She's wonderful.

And if anyone needs convincing about this show, watch this clip. This scene had me falling off the sofa the first time I saw it. Carly Chaikin is perfection as Dalia.

It doesn't hurt that Jeremy Sisto is extremely easy on the eyes.
