I am currently reviewing the ARC for this book and there's a lot of insight and notes. It includes different versions of lyrics from all of the previous incarnations of the show: NYTW, Edmonton, London/Broadway, etc. It's more in the style of the fairly recent Spring Awakening lyric book rather than an annotated libretto.
