I adore the film despite its complete historical inaquaracy (sp?). I seem to remember a long time ago that the Macy's Parade did an Anastasia movie tribute and sang "Rumour in St.Petersburg". I also think that "Journey to the Past" lost to "My Heart Will Go On" at the Oscars. This was my favorite movie as a kid and I plan on buying the DVD with my newly aquired B-Day cash .

Dream cast sounds good, except for the fact that the great Julie Andrews can no longer sing. A crime it is.

Love the story of Anastasia, though I've never seen this version. I do love the Ingrid Bergmen and Yul Brenner version. Not a musical though.

Anywho, I think it would be a great musical.

And the list of Broadway singers in Disney movies was very impressive. I had no idea there were so many.

I love this movie. The music from it is fantastic, and I think it would make a great show!

Thanks for that list POLisPOL and everyone who made additions to it. I didn't realize so many Broadway stars were in Disney movies!
